i adore the bringhurst theme, but my only frustration is with posts like this:

which format horrendously when on the mainpage – see in the next 24/48 hours and you’ll see it there. any fixes?

otherwise, LOVE.

Hi, Rachel,

I understand the problem, and basically, I envisioned two uses: those with lots to say in the captions, and those who rarely, if ever post captions (like photoblogs, for instance). In the theme options, unchecking “Little Captions” will display the captions on the homepage the same way they’re displayed on the permalink pages. You should use that option if you frequently write a lot in the captions for photo/video entries.

Lovely theme! Now trying to figure out how to override underlined links.. ack.

Also, the promotional link to this theme page is broken (see for a test).

Thanks, Oliver! To not have underlined links, change line 115 (text-decoration: underline = text-decoration: none). And thanks for catching that bug! I’ll fix it on the next release.

Hi! I installed this and it’s great except for the same issue with all of the photo content being on the side of the image rather than below. I don’t see anything called “little captions” in the theme options so I am unsure how to fix this issue. Help!
