Geomancy is chunky, retro geometric font that harkens back to French and American Art Deco. With some letterforms taken directly from posters and other ephemera of the period, the all-uppercase set comes with many alternates and ligatures so you can give a little of that varied, hand-painted feeling to your work.

Geomancy Extra Bold and Geomancy Hairline work beautifully together, on top of one another, or as separate fonts altogether:

Okay, it’s kinda late and I’ve had a really long hard day, but I must be going crazy too. I see several comments about multiple Geomancy fonts but for the life of me I only see one link to download. Were there other links previously for different versions of this font? Thanks for a great font, by the way.

23. Natasha:
Hi, Deborah,
The two fonts are contained in one .zip file, and that’s the file you get when you click the Download link.

24. Vida:
I am also wondering what the simplest way to do the layering (as in the Kiss and Tell example). Can’t seem to get it right. Are the thin lines drawn and not actually the hairline font? Any help would be appreciated!
December 20, 2010
25. Bruno:
Vida, I’m afraid the Kiss and Tell example had those lines drawn in by hand. It was actually the inspiration that led to the creation of the hairline version. The layering with the hairline version looks more like the greyish gradient image. Sorry for the confusion!

Love the font, but I’ve installed both the Hairline and the Extra bold versions, and only the Hairline shows up when I try to use it in a program. Is there a remedy for this?

38. AK:
As others have said repeatedly, the “Geomancy – Hairline.otf” file is actually Extra Bold when opened. So the zip contains two versions of the Extra Bold under two names, but DOES NOT CONTAIN A FILE FOR HAIRLINE.
Has this been done purposefully? Since the issue still hasn’t been addressed, it seems that the author wants to keep it that way.
The pair are so spectaular, I don’t see the use in not having both available.

39. Andy:
Im having the same issue as multiple unanswered questions in here: ive installed both fonts, but only “hairline” is showing up in my programs. Is there a solution?

Same problem with the fonts here. I downloaded the zip, both Geomancy Bold and Hairline are in the archive. When i install them though, ps shows me only the bold. The hairline doesn’t show up in the windows fonts folder either, but when i try to reinstall it, a dialog tells me it’s already there. Any solutions? I would really love to be use them both!

I can email you my product after Im done – its for an art walk.

50. Chris:
Natasha, I have the same common problem as the others. It seems that whichever version of Geomancy is installed first, the second one morphs into it when installed. You emailed Loana an updated file…does this fix the issue, and if so can you send it to me as well? Thanks!!!
