Matchbook is a simple and functional set of two typefaces we designed in a serif and sans-serif version. Each set includes all accented characters and works beautifully in larger scales.

Both versions are wonderful, however, I am a bit disappointed since they do not, in fact, include all accented characters. The ő and ű characters (U+0150, U+0170) are missing, as they do in the case of most free fonts, and while I know that Hungarian designers and typophils are not that many, it would still help us tremendously if font designers added those two simple little characters in their fonts.
Sorry for the rant, and thanks for the fonts anyway, they will sure come in handy in some English-based project!

I’m curious as to what license applies to the Matchbook fonts? Perhaps you haven’t thought much about the legalese, but it would make the typeface much more usable if people knew what they can (and cannot) do with Matchbook. If you are inclined to open-source the fonts, I recommend the SIL Open Font License, but a Creative Commons license would also provide an easy way to select exactly the rights you want to maintain on the font.

Why are 99% of the comments referring to your beautiful work as a font? This is a typeface, just as was stated on the titling of the design. A font is a tangible set of type, not something in cyberspace.
No one checks for spelling, grammar, or content when they write these days. It’s kind of sad.

@Katy B: If you’re using Windows 7, go to Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Fonts. Unzip the file and place the TrueType font file in the Fonts folder. It can be similarly done with older Windows OS.
